Mario (currently known as Marvin) is one of the main protagonists of the SuperMarioLogan series. He is Jeffy's adoptive father, Rosalina's husband, Peach's ex-husband and Luigi's older brother.
He serves as the titular main protagonist of the Mario videos, the anti-heroic deuteragonist of the Jeffy, Black Yoshi, Shrek, and Mr. Goodman videos, a major character in the Brooklyn Guy and Chef Pee Pee videos, a supporting character in the Junior videos, and a minor character in the Joseph and Cody videos. Despite being one of the main protagonists, he is sometimes an antagonist.
Mario used to have an Italian accent, but nowadays he has an American accent which is similar to how Chef Pee Pee's accent changed from Italian to American.
He also appears in Puppet Pals videos.
He is voiced by the creator of the series, Logan Thirtyacre, who also voices Bowser Junior in the same YouTube series.
Personality
Mario is nice and responsible, but he can be frustrated, angry and irritable, especially when Jeffy annoys him. In fact, he can also be a jerk on several occasions.
Even though he gets angry with Jeffy in Jeffy's Parents!, he felt sorry for him and decided to adopt him because Jeffy's mother abuses him.
Out of all characters in the series, he is one of the smartest and least retarded characters along with Chef Pee Pee, Cody and Brooklyn T. Guy. However, despite being intelligent, he and Brooklyn T. Guy are not always smart.
Although Mario is mostly a hero, he is sometimes shown to have an evil and cruel side as he has done several villainous acts such as teaming up with the Pigs to kill the Angry Birds, helping Mama Luigi kill Toad, helping Bowser in a robbery, helping Brooklyn T. Guy, Simmons and Sharon steal a Christmas tree, killing Pee-wee, hiring the Loan Dolphin to kill Jeffy, etc.
Despite saying that he hates Jeffy so many times, he does in fact care for him as seen in the long awaited SML movie, where he along with Brooklyn Guy and Simmons helped save Jeffy, and when Jeffy was thought to have died, Mario mourned his death before being happy that he saw his son alive.
Houses he lived in
He lived with Black Yoshi, Shrek, Mama Luigi (before he died), Woody, Tony the Tiger, Mr. Pig and Toad in the original house where most of the SML characters used to live. He also lived with the Angry Birds in the same house until he kicked them out.
He later lived in an apartment in 2015.
In October 2016, Mario lived in a new house after Wendy one of the Koopalings cut the couch in half with a chainsaw.
Forms and Variations
Fire Mario
Fire Mario is a transformation of Mario in Mario's Turtle Problem! when he killed Pee-wee.
Wing Mario
Wing Mario is a transformation of Mario when he uses the Wing Cap. He used it in a Mario and Luigi's stupid and dumb adventures episode.
Wing Mario was also used in the older SuperMarioLogan videos.
Trivia
- Despite being the main protagonist, he has less screen time than Bowser Junior. However, Mario currently has the same screen time and appearances as Bowser Junior and he can be considered as one of the two main protagonists (alongside Bowser Junior) as the show's progress.
