Dr. Shellington is a character from the Character What series, Dr. Shellington is also a character from the Octonauts.
Character What: New Adventures[]
In Captain Jack Sparrow and the Octonauts, Shellington was doing his research on animals in his room, Shadow Joe suddenly teleported right in front of him, much to Shellington's surprise. Shellington was even surprise to see Iris (never seen her before) and Rainbow Dash are with Shadow Joe instead of Twilight Sparkle and Dawn. Shadow Joe explains to him that Twilight Sparkle is out to do things on her own as an order from Princess Celestria and Dawn is at home doing her own things, much to Shellington's appointment, as he was looking forward to meeting Twilight Sparkle again as well. Shadow Joe even told Shellington that he missing Twilight Sparkle more than anything but can still see Dawn anytime he wants. Later Shellington arrive into the HQ after hearing the Octo Alert, Captain Barnacles show a footage of Captain Jack Sparrow underwater seemingly drowning but Shadow Joe immediately rescues Jack and bring him into the launch bay for everyone to see if he alright, to which Jack Sparrow wakes up and sees all the of Octonauts looking down at him. Shellington asks Jack what kinds of animals he has seen in his lifetime, but Jack rudely explains that he has never seen a animal like Shellington before, much to Shellington's chagrin. When Davy Jones invaded the Octopot, Shellington along with the rest of the Octonauts were force to watch as Shadow Joe, Jack Sparrow, Kwazii and Iris fight Davy Jones in a sword duel.
Shellington appears in another episode alongside with the other Octonauts, where he is seen amongst the crowd of characters singing during Shadow Joe and Eris talking about their feelings.
Character What: Chronicles[]
In Trixie Incharge, Dr. Shellington and Dashi for unknown circumstances were send to Arctic, where they met up with Shadow Joe Dawn, who also arrived as the same time as Shellington and Dashi. Dr. Shellington and Dashi went inside a snow fort with Shadow Joe and Dawn inside. Shellington explains to them once he and Dashi arrived in the Arctic, Gup-Z broken down and left them stranded, but also explains that Captain Barnacles and the other Octonauts will come rescue them soon.

Like the original counterpart, Shellington go on many missions and adventures with Dashi more than the other Octonauts.
Tweak,[]
Much like in the Octonauts series, Shellington and Tweak don't interact with ease other much, but they appear to had good terms with ease other.
Twilight Sparkle[]
Shellington and Twilight Sparkle get along with ease other very well, as they both have interest in learning about science. In Character What: New Adventures, Shellington was noticed that Twilight Sparkle wasn't with Shadow Joe where came to visit the Octonauts again and introduced his new travelling companions; Iris (from Pokemon) and Rainbow Dash, Shellington expresses his disappointment of not getting a chance to see Twilight Sparkle again, implying that he had a great bond with her.
Shadow Joe[]
Shellington has a good relationship with Shadow Joe, due to his knowledge of creatures and science. Sometimes, Shellington will ask Shadow Joe questions about how much he knows about aquatic creatures and his adventures with Twilight Sparkle. Shellington always look forward seeing Shadow Joe in hopes of learning about more creatures.
Dawn[]
Though Shellington and Dawn don't interact with ease other very often, they had good terms with ease other.
Iris[]
Shellington first met Iris during Character What: New Adventure, but they didn't developed much of a relationship as they don't interact very much. However, when Davy Jones threatens to harmed Iris if Shadow Joe didn't surrendered, Shellington became concerned of her well being.
Rainbow Dash[]
Even though they never interact with ease other, Rainbow Dash understands the reasons why Shellington and Twilight Sparkle get along with ease other very well is because of their interest in science. Much like Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash also views Shellington as a "Egghead", due to Shellington being almost as a smart as Twilight Sparkle.
